If I need prayer, will Divine Touch Ministries Worldwide pray for me?
Divine Touch Ministries Worldwide is a praying church. We have intercessory prayer before each service. We also pray corporately on Saturday evenings at 5:00pm. If you are in need of prayer, please feel free to come forward during the invitation at the conclusion of service as well. We would love to pray for you. If you wish, you may send prayer requests through the PRAYER REQUEST link on our Home page. Your request will be forwarded to one of our ministry leaders.
Will I have a chance to meet the Pastor?
Bishop Don Okafor or the Ministry Team looks forward to meeting visitors and spending time with members after each service. He is usually available at the front of the church immediately following service to receive guests and members, as well as speak with those who have questions about the church or the message of the morning.
Will I be asked to give an offering?
As a guest you are welcome, but not expected, to make an offering. The Tithes and Offerings portion of our service is a time of celebration at Divine Touch Ministries Worldwide. Our members are excited to give as part of their commitment to God and the church.
Need More Information?
On Sunday mornings, our Minister, are always on hand to talk with you and answer any questions you might have about our church. You may also contact the church office Monday through Friday at 334.356.5666.
We welcome ALL people to come and celebrate the resurrected King Jesus Christ with us. We look forward to meeting you soon!
What can I expect when I visit?
Our Sunday services at 10:00am are more traditional in nature but are both contemporary and charismatic. Our Sunday services meet in our main sanctuary where we sing songs of praise, pray corporately, spend time greeting one another, and receiving the word of God from the Holy Bible.
When you visit us on the first Sunday of the month, you can expect Holy Communion to be served. All who are believers are invited to participate in this holy sacrament. When you visit us on a third Sunday of the month, you can celebrate with us as we welcome believers or reaffirm service to God.
What about my children?
Children are welcome and encouraged to stay with you during service. We also have a quiet room available where service can be seen and heard for your convenience.
On Sundays children ages 5 through 10 are invited to participate in our Children’s Church during our 10:00am service.
As a visitor, will I have to say anything or be singled out?
You will not be asked to say anything or introduce yourself as a visitor. As our way of welcoming you, we do ask all of our First Time Visitors to stand so that we may greet you. You will be given a guest information card to fill out if you would like more information about our church. If you prefer not to stand though, that is fine, too. We do not want you to do anything that would make you feel uncomfortable.
